Escaping from “Pandemic’s Box”

I guess it isn’t surprising that opening our personal Covid boxes gives us insight into matters we previously did not give thought to. I certainly have “hindsight 20/20” regarding my life. I am more aware of with whom and how I spent my time.

I am a social animal and have always maintained a strong connection to others. This past 15 months have really been a test for all. For me, it has brought on new meaning…It is easier to differentiate between acquaintances and friends, hobbies and “addictions” and most of all the real and the pretend.

Without being Pollyanna I try to look with gratitude and appreciation…sometimes my efforts are rewarded with optimism and sometimes I have to force myself to accept a new life. Wonder how many others are on this roller coaster ride?
